Reception

Included with every Reception Package:

  • Appetizers —  Served to your guests while the bridal party (or if Quinceañera or Sweet 16 the court of honor) and immediate family are taking pictures after the ceremony. The appetizers are listed below and you may choose one of the three:
    • Fresh Fruit Display:  Fresh fruit presentation including: strawberries, cantaloupe, honey dew, pineapple and grapes;  A beautiful display of domestic cubed cheeses, including Swiss, mild cheddar & pepper jack; displayed with assorted crackers; Presentation of fresh vegetables: broccoli, cauliflower, baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, served with Ranch dressing for dipping, tea, coffee, and water served in sterling silver urns  or
    • Tex-Mex Chip Station:  Tortilla chips served with queso dip, hot sauce, guacamole and pico de galo, tea, coffee, and water served in sterling silver urns, or
    • If Brunch, Continental Display:  Assorted danishes, pastries, breakfast breads and muffins, tea (or juice), coffee, and water served in sterling silver urns.
  • Your choice of different colors of fine table linens

For each additional guest, please add $6.00 for rental of chairs and linens and $7.95 for reception package for a total of $13.95 per person.  If you would like a reception without a ceremony on a Saturday evening, there will be a variation of price only in seasonal months.

Occasions Menu  ***To serve a meal  at your reception, the following menu choices are available***

Twelve and older = adult menu;      Eleven and under = child’s menu;       Three and under = no charge

Executive Chef Zach has been with Occasions since the opening in 2009.  He worked at the Anatole Hotel for ten years, and has served every living president, except our current one…  Occasions is extremely fortunate to have Executive Chef Zach working for our brides!

The Sweet Breakfast**
Waffles & pancakes served with syrup, brown sugar butter, fruits (bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries), candied nuts & whipped cream. Served with a fruit display.

Oven Roasted Turkey, Smoked Ham and Chicken Salad Sandwiches
Displayed with lettuce & tomato on assorted white, wheat rolls and croissants served with chipotle mayo, cilantro mayo, spicy mustard, Dijon mustard, regular mayo & mustard and potato chips. Choice of Cole slaw, potato salad or pasta salad. or

BBQ Brisket Sandwiches
Slow smoked BBQ brisket served on assorted rolls with tangy BBQ sauce & potato chips. Served with your choice of potato salad, slaw or pasta salad.  or

The American
Assorted succulent cheeseburger sliders served with gourmet toppings to include caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, bleu cheese, Swiss cheese, smoked bacon, crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, mustard, chipotle mustard, spicy brown mustard, mayonnaise, and cilantro mayonnaise. Potini Bar Buffet
Perfectly seasoned mashed potatoes served in large martini glass with grilled chicken, chopped ham, bacon bits, sour cream, chives, brown & white gravy, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, Monterrey jack cheese & mozzarella cheese. or

Spring Salad Buffet
A large selection of salads displayed beautifully on large platters. Includes strawberry & roasted walnut salad, orange mandarin & candied almond salad, layered spinach salad, grilled chicken Caesar salad, and pasta salad served with a bread station to include a variety of rolls with butter.  or

Tex- Mex
Taco Buffet: seasoned ground beef served with Spanish rice, ranchero beans, hard & soft tortillas with servings of cheese, sour cream, lettuce, pico de gallo, chips, hot sauce, guacamole, & garden salad.

For Ceremony and Reception Packages listed above, please note:  For day receptions, as well as Tues & Wed evening receptions and the Sunday receptions with the four hour venue time, acrylic ware and disposable napkins are used.  Fri and Sat evening receptions, and the Sunday receptions  (other than the four hour venue time ceremony and reception),  glassware, silverware, and formal napkins are used.  To maintain highest quality standards, the reception options and/or pricing may change at any time and without notice unless ceremony and reception are booked.  20% service charge and 8.25% tax will be added to a portion of the reception package.
